Concurrent Request Form - No need to keep clicking the Refresh Data button...automatic refresh now !

In Oracle EBS world, enhancement requests (ER) are rarely come to reality.  I never have any high hope that any ER I submitted will be accepted. However, I can't believe these ERs for Concurrent Request Form become a real patch.

As popular requests for more than 10 years, Oracle finally release an Enhancement patch 23527993 to do the followings:
(1) Auto-refresh
Profile option "Concurrent: Auto-refresh View Request Timer (secs)"
Profile option with no values, will default to 5 mins, 0 disables.

(2) Submission button separated to run a single request or request set.

(3) New Copy buttons added to submit a previous request or request set, accordingly.

(4) Re-run: When user's cursor on a specific request id, brings up the submission

NOTE 1 – it's an enhancement, not mandatory
NOTE 2 - It's for R12.1.3 and R12.2.

If you really apply this patch, make sure users know these changes because EBS users are very sensitive to any UI difference.  Lets' see what are BEFORE and AFTER:

BEFORE  - Submit request -> select single request or request set
AFTERnew buttons ("submit request" and "submit request set")

AFTER – new profile options "Concurrent: Auto-refresh View Request Timer (secs)
This value can be set from Site level to User level.  So everyone can set it's value

BEFORE – you need to keep clicking "Refresh Data" to update the Phase and Status.

AFTER – If "Auto Refresh" is selected, the request Phase and Status will be updated periodically (I set the profile option value to 5 secs). There're a couple new buttons –"Copy Single Request", "Copy Request Set", and "Submit New Request Set".

AFTER – After any request (non-child) is completed, you can click "Rerun Request" directly.
